Divide as God would

The children replied, “We want it to be fair. Divide the marbles as God would.”

So, Nasrudin counted out the marbles and gave three to one child and nine to the other.

Stop Searching I found one

Khoja has been looking for a parking place for twenty minutes already. He turns around, he waits, he drives a bit further, but finds nothing. On the path of will there are methods – hundreds of methods. On the path of surrender, surrender itself is the method, there are no other methods – remember this.

All these one hundreds of methods require a certain will; they require something to be done by you. You manipulate your energy, you balance your energy, you create a center in your chaos. You do something. Your effort is significant, basic, required.

All methods are non-surrendering, because a method means depending on yourself. You can do something; the technique is there, so you do it.

On the path of surrender, you are no more, so you cannot do anything. You have done the ultimate, the last: you have surrendered. On the path of surrender, surrender is the only method.
